It's worth the wait though, as the flavors and quality are unmatched. Highly recommend this bakery to anyone in the area! ”
“ I visited it 3 times while I was staying in Downey and visiting places nearby. There was always a line everytime (all 3 times were different : lunch dinner and late night ) but the lines moves fast with two sides of counter dealing with incoming customers. The bakery is good , coffee was just okay ,but good variety and inexpensive so could try different items every time. Loved :Guava rose pastry,Tiramisu cup,Mango Mousse bomb ,Chocolate hazelnut eclair (just so yumm),chocolate eclair(great),tres leche slice, and sandwich was nice.Definitely must go place when nearby . We did try the cheese potato balls but as it has meat (which we don't eat) so had to leave that. ”

“ As always such a treat to get food from here. Savories, sweets sandwiches all so good. To see them spread out and having to choose is so difficult. Cubano was sour and the Spicy Chicken Milanese was great but not so spicy. Ropa Veja was also tasty. . The bread on all these... perfect. Mango shake was better than the Passion Guava. It gets very crowded at lunch time. You cannot order sandwiches online. The drinks they make when you pick them up. ”

“ Where do I start. This place is so cash. I’m probably returning again tomorrow morning and the next. My mind is blown by their efficiency. This shouldn’t be logistically possible but here we are. There are at least 100 people working inside this place (I counted). The line moves quickly, food comes quickly, there’s a system and a process for everything to avoid delays... these guys are good ”
“ The best bakery in LA. We came to Porto’s every time we are in LA. The place is so popular that we visited a Saturday night 10 minutes before close and there was still quite some people lining up, and there is a reason! All the bakeries are so good and reasonably priced. Especially the cheese rolls and the potato balls. I just hope they can open up one in my area! ”
“ My family and I love the amazing cheese rolls from this place! Even with the long lines, it's always worth the wait. We got there after 7 and it was still packed. This one's bigger than the others, and it's got such a great vibe. You gotta try it. ”
